Hughes Avenue, incorporating the lime kiln walk, is historically significant as one of the first roadways established in Darwin.

The O’Keeffe Residence is a small residence built in 1943.

Stokes Hill was named after the commander of HMS Beagle John Lort Stokes, who visited and named Darwin after his friend Charles Darwin in 1839.

The Sue Wah Chin Building, also known as Stone Houses, was built in 1888 by Kwong Sue Duk (also known as Sun Mow Loong) and featured hipped roofs.

The Top End Visitor Information Centre is situated in Darwin CBD and offers personalised visitor services and a comprehensive selection of brochures, booklets, maps and timetables.

The Victoria Hotel (‘the Vic’) has been a Darwin institution since its opening in July 1890 and would be, according to the NT Times and Gazette, the ‘best and most commodious hotel north of Townsville’.
