Tourism accreditation

Does your tourism experience have a tick of approval? We want to make sure every visitor has a great experience in the Northern Territory.

The Northern Territory tourism industry participates in national tourism accreditation programs. Accredited businesses have met specific criteria and are committed to providing high-quality tourism experiences.

To make it easier for you to plan your holiday, look for these logos:

Australian Tourism Accreditation Program

The Australian Tourism Accreditation Program distinctive ‘tick’ logo displayed by accredited businesses provides the assurance that they’ve met specific criteria ensuring they are committed to exceeding your expectations with great customer service and the highest standards of business practice.

Eco Certification

The ECO Certification logo helps you to choose a genuine and authentic tourism experience that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.

The ECO Certification program assures you that certified products are backed by a commitment to sustainable practices and provides high quality nature-based tourism experiences.

Respecting Our Culture (ROC) Program

The ROC Program Program encourages the industry to operate with respect for Indigenous cultural heritage, and is unique in that it provides the recognition of cultural protocols and authenticity.

A business with ROC accreditation will ensure tourism experiences meet customer expectations, and will have professional and sustainable business and environmental practices.

Caravan Industry Association of Australia (CIAA)

Caravan Industry Association of Australia accreditation assures park visitors that they are dealing with a business committed to quality in business practice and customer service.

By becoming accredited, parks strive to improve their overall performance and proudly display the Accreditation ‘key’.
